Past Projects & Event Highlights

Lee at Zalando Mall of Denim

Concept: Interactive Upcycling Station. Visitors created custom keychains using denim discards from the brand and industrial metal hardware. Participants learned to use hand presses, pliers, and rivets, as well as basic hand-stitching techniques. We designed several prototype models for inspiration, allowing guests to join the "open table" format, craft their unique piece, and make room for the next creator in a fluid, high-traffic environment.

Adidas (Kudamm Store) – Berlin Marathon 50th Anniversary

Concept: Collaborative Art Installation. To celebrate this milestone, participants customized sneaker insoles provided by Adidas. Using the insoles as a canvas, guests intervened them with fabric spray paint and stencils, adding hand-sewn beads and metallic studs. The individual pieces were then assembled onto a mannequin throughout the day, forming a final "sculptural dress" that remained on display at the flagship store.

Billie Eilish "Overheated" Festival 2025 (Berlin)

Concept: Fan-Driven Customization. Targeting a young demographic (ages 12–28), we developed a series of custom patches featuring Billie Eilish’s branding and iconography. Our team provided on-site machine sewing services, applying these patches to the visitors' own garments or to second-hand T-shirts provided by us. The looks were further personalized with metallic studs for a DIY-punk aesthetic aligned with the artist's style.

JetBrains Summer Fest

Concept: Corporate Creative Retreat. For this full-day company festival, we curated a dual-station experience. We set up a large-scale sewing station where employees transformed old company merchandising (T-shirts and tote bags) into entirely new garments. Simultaneously, we offered an accessory upcycling station where participants used pliers and hand-assembly techniques to create necklaces and earrings from dismantled second-hand jewelry.

Denim Première Vision – Upcycling Station

Concept: Professional Design Exploration. At this renowned trade fair, we invited the professional public to rethink the lifecycle of a garment. Participants worked with second-hand clothes, exploring their "new function" without cutting or destroying the original structure first. Once the new silhouette was defined, they used professional sewing machines and manual techniques to finalize their high-end upcycled creations.

The Ground Festival (Messe Berlin)

Concept: Multi-Technique Customization. We provided T-shirts as a base for various intervention techniques. Participants could choose between sewing and non-sewing activities, such as applying eyelets with hand presses to create lacing systems, cropping garments to create coordinated two-piece sets, or transforming T-shirts into functional bags.

PLATTE Berlin

PLATTE BERLIN – WOR&SHOP Event & Pop-up Concept: Panel Discussion, Curated Pop-up & Creative Exchange.

We curated and hosted the "WOR&SHOP" event, featuring a dynamic panel debate on the future of upcycling with leading Berlin-based designers and tech-fashion innovators. Alongside the discussion, we organized a specialized pop-up market showcasing sustainable designers, bridging the gap between theoretical circularity and accessible, high-end upcycled fashion. The event fostered a deep dialogue on how technology and craftsmanship are reshaping the city's fashion ecosystem. Details: View Press Release

Workshop Concept: Community Upcycling Workshop. During the event, we hosted a public workshop focused on intuitive design. Guests were encouraged to play with second-hand garments, reinterpreting their original use. The session involved a mix of scissors, manual sewing, and machine work, allowing participants to transform "waste" into wearable contemporary fashion pieces.

LA ENCARTADA MODA (Bilbao) – Fabrikmuseum La Encartada Concept: Heritage Meets Innovation

In 2024, we conducted a specialized upcycling workshop and participated in a panel talk where we shared the history of our project and our unique philosophy on upcycling as a transformative tool. Set in a former wool factory, this event allowed us to connect industrial heritage with contemporary sustainable practices, discussing the cultural and social impact of creative reuse.
