Hola!🙋🏽♀️ Nosotras somos dos hermanas de Villa María, Córdoba, Argentina. Una vive en Berlín hace 15 años (Mariángeles | @slave_2_words), la otra en Córdoba (Paula | @poli_aguirre). Llevamos nuestra marca-proyecto hace casi 8 años en ambos lugares. También en Buenos Aires y Amsterdam.
Hacemos esto porque sincera y simplemente, es lo que nos cierra por todos lados, nos representa y da sentido a nuestras vidas. En casa tod@s (des)cosían, (des)tejían, bordaban, reformaban y reutilizaban (y siguen haciéndolo). Así aprendimos, de la abuela Chichina, de mamá @aliciamorenoaguirre, de nuestra hermana mayor @andreaaguirre0304 y papá @aguirre1776 .
Nuestro estilo es una mezcla que nace de poner en una batidora imaginaria los materiales que encontramos, con las cosas que se nos pegaron en las suelas de tanto caminar, a la antigua, sin apps, por vivir donde vivimos, por ser curiosas, por la música que nos dejaron nuestros ex novios, las crisis de identidad que pasamos, y los dolores y miedos que en vez de dejar que nos hundieran, exorcizamos y transformamos en esta terapia creativa.
Permítannos entonces que lo cuidemos mucho, porque es un pequeñísimo, ínfimo lugar, pero es NUESTRO LUGAR EN EL MUNDO. Un lugar donde Tod@s están invitados a sumarse, y así tiene más sentido. Cuando colaboramos, cuando creamos junt@s.
Nunca podremos dejar de decir lo hermoso que es sentir GRATITUD, por todas las personas que desde antes de vestir a ningún famoso ni salir en ninguna revista, de una u otra manera se han sumado, nos apoyaron y creen en nosotras. Este es un lugar que creamos con mucho esfuerzo y trabajo personal, humano y físico, y sobre todo con mucha introspección, prueba y error, y escuchando a nuestras tripas y corazón.
Permítannos cuidarlo y decirles a los que no nos respetan: #COPIARNOESSOSTENIBLE. Ojalá despierten pronto y comprendan que el camino más corto en realidad NO EXISTE. Hablemos realmente de QUÉ SIGNIFICA LA MODA ETICA. LEE AQUÍ LO QUE ESCRIBIMOS AL RESPECTO HACE UNOS MESES.

Hi! 🙋🏽♀️ We are two sisters from Villa María, Cordoba, Argentina. Mariángeles lives in Berlin since 15 years and Paula in Córdoba. We run our brand-project already almost 8 years in both places. We are also in Buenos Aires and Amsterdam.
We do this because sincerely and simply, it is what represents us and gives meaning to our lives. At home everyone (un) sewed, (un) wove, embroidered, reformed and reused (and still do). Thus we learned, from Grandma Chichina, from mom Alicia, from our older Andrea and our dad Carlos.
Our style is a mixture born from putting in an imaginary mixer the materials we find, with all those things that got stuck in the soles of our shoes while walking, in an old-fashioned way, without apps. Just because of living where we live, for being curious. They come from the music that our ex-boyfriends left us, the identity crises we went through, and the pains and fears that instead of letting them sink us, we exorcised and transformed into this creative therapy.
Allow us, then, to take care of it a lot, because it is a tiny, tiny place, but it is OUR PLACE IN THE WORLD. A place where everyone is invited to join, this way it makes more sense. When we collaborate, when we create together.
We will never stop saying how beautiful it is to feel GRATITUDE, for all the people who, before dressing any celebrities or getting published on any magazine, have joined us in one way or another, supported us and believe in us. This is a place that we create with a lot of effort and personal, human and physical work, and especially with a lot of introspection, trial and error, and listening to what comes from our guts and our hearts.
